Alycia Jasmin Debnam-Carey is an Australian actress whose talents and personality have won her armies of fans. She was born on July 20, 1993, and her birthplace is Sydney, Australia. Debnam-Carey was born into an average-income household; her mother was a writer and her father a musician. She took an interest in music at a young age and attended Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, where she was a percussionist. Debnam-Carey was an adept percussionist who studied classical percussion for 10 years. For her talents in music, she was enlisted as a distinguished achiever by the N.S.W. Government and received the Premier’s Award for scoring 90+ in over 10 units. In 2011, after graduating from Newtown, Debnam-Carey decided to pursue a career in acting.

Debnam-Carey made her acting debut in 2003 in Rachel Ward’s “Martha’s New Coat.” Debnam-Carey then guest-starred in “McLeod’s Daughters” (2006) and voiced Lee in “The Safe House” (2008). She received a few small roles and began working in Hollywood at 18, after moving to the U.S. In 2013, she was a cast member in “Next Stop Hollywood,” a documentary that followed six Australian actors in a competition for roles. Debnam-Carey starred in “The Devil’s Hand” (2014) and played a supporting role in “Into the Storm” (2014). In the same year, she guest-starred as Lexa in the second season of the dystopian series “The 100,” making her debut in episode six. In December 2014, she was announced as a lead character in “Fear the Walking Dead.” The series premiered in August 2015 with Debnam-Carey as Alicia Clark.

Debnam-Carey went on to star in more movies including, “Friend Request” (2016) and “A Violent Separation” (2019). In 2020, she appeared on the season finale of “The 100” and is scheduled for more projects including her directorial debut in 2022. Debnam-Carey is an amazing actress whose personal life isn’t as public as her professional one. However, from our findings, Debnam-Carey is currently single and without kids. She is presently enjoying her life with her friends and family.
