Arbor Day – April 28

The earliest American Arbor Day took place toward the start of the 1870s — right around the time when Yellowstone, our nation's first national park, was designated — and in the decades following, many nations around the world followed suit. Today, Arbor Day is celebrated in dozens of nations around the world, which serves as a testament to humanity's endearment toward nature. In the U.S., it falls on the last Friday in April, which, in 2016, is on April 29th!
