Blah Blah Blah Day is celebrated every April 17 to encourage you to listen to those nagging words from your loved ones or friends, and to action them. It’s also a time to start accomplishing what you set as your New Year’s resolution. Did you know that the word ‘blah’ was first used in a 1918 memoir in relation to gossiping and talking about meaningless topics? Dictionary.com defines “blah blah blah” as meaningless chatter; idle gossip. “Blah blah blah” is also used when you’re uninterested in what someone is saying or feel the other person is nagging you.

Unfairly Prosecuted Persons Day

Slovakia holds a day of remembrance for the aggression against monks in communist Czechoslovakia, in an event called the Unfairly Prosecuted Persons Day, which is observed each year on April 13. Although it is not a public holiday, some businesses and organizations join Christian communities and governmental bodies in commemorative activities and events. While the country is a mixed blend of all religions and cultures today and has long overthrown its Communist identity, the country still wants to honor every priest and monk who suffered during the Communist Regime in Czechoslovakia.

Odisha Day, or ‘Utkal Divas,’ is a regional Indian holiday celebrated every April 1. It commemorates the eastern state, Odisha, functioning as a separate entity since 1936. Odisha was the first state in India to be created based on the grounds of a common language. It possesses a significant history, culture, and natural wonders which cement it as an important place for India as a whole.
