Anti-Bullying Week

Anti-Bullying Week is observed every year in the third week of November. This year it is held from November 17 to 21. Recognizing that bullying has a long-term effect on the victim’s mental health and quality of life, the holiday seeks to combat bullying by encouraging a zero-tolerance policy. World Tsunami Awareness Day is observed on November 5 every year. Japan is credited for starting this observance, owing to its repeated, bitter tsunamis experience.
