Family Day in Vietnam

Family Day in Vietnam is a national holiday celebrated on June 28 every year in Vietnam. It was promulgated by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem in 2001 and has been observed every year since then. This holiday celebrates the Vietnamese family and its core values, such as prosperity, equality, progression, and happiness. On this day, some cities in Vietnam promote festivals and different sorts of cultural and sportive activities for all families. There are also campaigns for gifting orphans and children in need.

Attwari

The Attwari festival is celebrated as a public holiday on June 27 in a region of Nepal in Asia. The festival aims to foster love and unity among Tharu community members. The state of Sudur Sudur Paschim in Nepal observes it as a public holiday to celebrate the Tharu people. The Government of Nepal recognizes the Tharu people as an official nationality. They are indigenous to the Terai region of Nepal and northern India. During the holiday, Tharu males fast and pray for everyone’s longevity. The Attwari festival is held every year to encourage love and harmony.

Day of National Unity (Tajikistan)

Day of National Unity in Tajikistan is commemorated on June 27 every year and it is one of the main holidays celebrated in the country. On this day, in 1997, president Emomali Rakhmon signed a peace treaty to end the Civil War that erupted in 1992. This treaty is considered to be one of the most important historical documents in the country, because not only did it close the war, but it also allowed Tajikistan to develop more democratic politics.
