World Digestive Health Day is celebrated every year on May 29 around the world. The holiday provides resources and tools for gastrointestinal (G.I.) diseases to help more people in the general public make better decisions about their health. Awareness can lead to the early diagnosis and treatment of G.I. diseases, including cancer. It should also be known that G.I. diseases can lead to obesity. It also creates more understanding and better support for patients experiencing digestive diseases when their issues and conditions are better understood by the general public.
Oak Apple Day

Oak Apple Day is an annual British holiday celebration held on May 29. The Oak Apple Day holiday is a yearly celebration to commemorate the restoration of His Royal Highness, King Charles II, to the throne in the 1660s. The celebration honors the quick wit of King Charles II, who escaped soldiers by seeking refuge in an oak tree. The British Monarch was restored to the throne and brought an end to the Puritan Commonwealth, which had been introduced in 1649. The holiday also commemorates the founding of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea, founded by King Charles II.
Amateur Radio Military Appreciation Day

Amateur Radio Military Appreciation Day, also referred to as ARMAD and celebrated on May 23 this year, is an annual holiday on which amateur radio operators from around the world collaborate to allow members of various communities the opportunity to gather in public places (like a Walmart, public parks, or football game). Members of the community express their support verbally and in real-time, over a two-way radio for military members, and those who are affiliated with the military (veterans, coalition forces, first responders, and military support groups). Military members get to hear and feel the appreciation of the members of the community. It is an opportunity to express openly and verbally thank those at the frontlines.
