National Sleepover Day

National Sleepover Day is on May 9; it is a day to celebrate the amazing sleepovers that have been a way for friends to bond for decades. On National Sleepover Day, we can relive the midnight bonding with friends that made our teens so wholesome.

Sleepovers have been held by adolescents and teenagers as a way to spend more time with friends in a free, wholesome environment. It’s an opportunity for people to let their hair down and make some incredible memories with their friends, from sharing stories about their personal lives to bonding over a sad movie together.

On National Sleepover Day, you get to do it all again with the people you hold dear.

World Religion Day

World Religion Day is celebrated on the third Sunday in January every year, and is a reminder of the need for harmony and understanding between religions and faith systems. On this day, communities of different faiths have the opportunity to get together and listen to each other, as well as celebrate the differences and commonalities that the delicate intermingling of culture and religion brings. There are approximately 4,200 religions around the world. While many people live their lives without religion, faith in a higher being or power works for the majority of people. Whatever the reasons, we are all for the idea of people being unified despite differences, and celebrating them.

World Snow Day

World Snow Day

World Snow Day is observed on the third Sunday in January each year, and was created by the International Ski Federation (FIS). The purpose behind it is to increase children’s participation in snow-related sports like skiing and snowboarding, while bringing together families for a fun-filled frolic in the snow. Countries all over the world can make use of their snowy regions to host winter sports and activities so that more people can get the chance to experience snow. Imagine one great big global snowy fiesta, celebrated around the world over the same weekend — that’s the vision with which World Snow Day was established.
