Introduction
Every year we celebrate Hug your Rowing Coach Day. This commemorates the effort, attention, respect, love and acceptance offered by the rowing coach in each of our respective lives. I'll never forget that feeling of working through a "practice" 2k; your encouragement right there with me. Following my game plan, offering words of strength as I suffered through each stroke. Cheering me across the finish line, then hugging each other for the first time with a wonderful embrace.
