Choi Jun-Hong, better known by his stage name Zelo, is a South Korean rapper and singer. He was born in Mokpo, South Korea on October 15, 1996. He used to be a member of the popular South Korean boy group known as B.A.P. His Zodiac sign is Libra. There is no information about his family background and early childhood, except that he and his older brother were raised in South Korea. Zelo went to school in his hometown where he used to be a soccer player. He played for his school’s soccer team and dreamed of becoming a professional player. But when Zelo approached his teens, he realized he was more interested in music.

In high school, Zelo started practicing beatboxing and dancing. He later began participating in competitions in his hometown and was recognized as a talented dancer at the Joy Dance-Plug Music Academy. This gave him the confidence to participate in other events. He started auditioning for several recording companies but he was mostly unsuccessful. He was finally accepted at TS Entertainment. After graduating from high school, Zelo enrolled at the School of Performing Arts Seoul.

Zelo collaborated with Bang Yong-guk and the pair released the song ‘Never Give Up’ on December 2, 2011. The next month, it was announced that Zelo would be a member of B.A.P. He served as the lead rapper in the group. In February 2012, the group debuted its single album “Warrior.” The group went on to release hit song after hit song until it disbanded in 2019.
