National Life Group has announced a partnership with Boston Children's Hospital's Neighborhood Partnership program to provide free online resources and training to school employees across the country. The Training and Access Project (TAP) developed by Boston Children's Hospital will offer a series of videos covering topics like coping with grief, the impact of social media, supporting students after a mental health crisis, and strategies for staff well-being. National Life Group will make these resources available to over 15,000 school employees who are part of the company's LifeChanger of the Year program.
Why it matters
This collaboration aims to address the growing need for mental health support in schools, especially as the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated challenges for students' social-emotional well-being. By providing free, accessible training and tools, National Life Group and Boston Children's Hospital hope to empower educators to better support the behavioral health of their students.
The details
The TAP series includes 10 topics that cover a range of issues, from supporting students after a mental health crisis to strategies for staff well-being and building strong school-family partnerships. National Life Group will launch the program with a webinar featuring Boston Children's Hospital experts in March 2026, initially making it available to members of the LifeChanger of the Year program. The company has a history of supporting children's mental health through its charitable foundation and will continue to focus on this cause through its 2026 National Life Group Do Good Fest concert series.
