The Founding Anniversary of the Philippine Army is commemorated on March 22 in the Philippines. It is a day to recognize the country’s valiant and fearless military. On December 21, 1935, the Philippine Commonwealth Army was founded as a service branch. The Philippine Army is the oldest and largest branch of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (A.F.P.), responsible for ground warfare. It has been involved in numerous battles, including the continuous Communist struggle in the Philippines, the Moro conflict, and international conflicts alongside other national military forces.
Global Day of the Engineer

Global Day of the Engineer takes place annually on March 4. The celebrations are jointly sponsored by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (W.F.E.O.) to acknowledge the achievements of engineers and their contributions to construction and building infrastructure. There’s also an added focus on engineering and how to get future generations interested in it. Today, Global Day of the Engineer’s goals also includes sustainable development, and it has become a source of inspiration for many aspiring engineers.
Number Day

Number Day is observed on the first Friday of February as the official annual fundraising event organized by N.S.P.C.C. This year, it takes place on February 6. For nearly two centuries, the N.S.P.C.C. has led the fight against child abuse in the U.K. through its timely action, informational drives, and volunteering network. Number Day also honors the members and staff of the N.S.P.C.C. for their courageous contribution to the cause. Events and gatherings are held across the country, as people come together to raise awareness and money for the fight against the social evil of child abuse.
