Darryl Kevin Richardson, known by his stage name, Lil Scrappy, is a rapper, producer, and reality T.V. star. He was born on January 19, 1982, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was raised by a single mother because his father, Darryl Richardson Senior, left before he was born.
Along with Trillville, Lil Scrappy was one of the first artists signed to American record producer and rapper Lil Jon’s BME Recordings. He has since built a strong reputation and has made a name for himself in the Atlanta hip-hop scene.

He has also worked with other artists on two collaborative albums, “Silence & Secrecy: Black Rag Gang” and “The King of Crunk & BME Recordings Present: Trillville & Lil Scrappy.” He has since appeared on several reality shows, including “Love & Hip Hop: Miami,” and “Leave It To Stevie.” He currently stars on the reality show “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.”
