On Wednesday, Yates County Deputies arrested a 66-year-old Rushville woman following a single-car motor vehicle accident in the Town of Potter. At approximately 7:35 p.m., deputies responded to the intersection of West Swamp Road and Ferguson Corners Road, where they found that Joanne Tober had failed to navigate a turn, causing her vehicle to exit the roadway and enter a snow-covered ditch. Upon making contact with Tober, deputies observed multiple signs of intoxication and subsequently arrested her.
