Brightin Star, a third-party lens brand, is showcasing two new wide-angle lenses at the NAB 2026 convention in Las Vegas. The first is a 12mm f/2.8 autofocus lens with a 122.5-degree field of view, designed for landscape, architecture, interior, and astrophotography. The second is a silver edition of the brand's popular 28mm f/2.8 manual focus pancake lens, offering a more vintage aesthetic for street and travel photographers.

The details

The new silver edition of the 28mm f/2.8 pancake lens is designed for Leica M-mount cameras. It has an all-metal construction and a 'premium tactile feel' with a 6-element, 5-group optical design and a 9-blade aperture. The lens is 51.4mm tall and has a body protrusion thickness of 9.9mm, weighing approximately 125g.
