The Bemidji High School girls golf team competed against a strong field of 18 teams at the Monticello Invitational on Thursday. The Lumberjacks finished in 10th place with a team score of 387, led by seniors Taylor Schulke and Bergen Bakke who both carded 91s to tie for 28th place individually.

The Monticello Invitational featured many of the top high school girls golf programs in Minnesota, providing the Bemidji Lumberjacks an early-season test against state-level competition as they look to build on their successful 2025 campaign.

Monticello High School won the team title with a score of 341, followed by Minnewaska (347) and Southwest Christian (351). Bemidji's other scorers were Olivia Wangberg (102), Gracie Klovstad (103), Anika Ohnstad (104), and Stella Schoonover (106). Monticello's Alayna Patz took home the individual medalist honors with a 79.
