The Bemidji High School boys golf team's season-opening performance at the Monticello Invite showcased their young talent and potential for a strong campaign ahead.Bemidji TodayThe Bemidji High School boys golf team kicked off their season with a 7th place finish at the Monticello Magic Invite. The Lumberjacks shot a team score of 314, led by an individual 14th place finish from 8th grader Jackson Folgeson with a 76. Freshman Drew Valley was one stroke back in 15th place.

The details
Bemidji finished 7th out of 18 teams at the Monticello Magic Invite. Maple Grove won the event with a team score of 294, followed by New London-Spicer (304) and Albany (305). Jackson Folgeson led the Lumberjacks with a 76, good for 14th place individually. Freshman Drew Valley shot a 77 to finish 15th. Other Bemidji scorers included Logan Brink (80), Beckett Grand (81), Graham Fish (81), and Axel Burlingame (83).
