Roseau senior forward Jasmine Hovda has been named a semifinalist for the 2026 Ms. Hockey award, recognizing her as one of the 10 best girls hockey players in Minnesota. Hovda led the Rams with 66 points, including 45 goals and 21 assists, in 27 games this season. She is committed to play Division I hockey at St. Cloud State University.

The details
Hovda's 45 goals are currently tied for the second-most in the state and are the most in Class AA. She is a three-time All-Section selection, three-time Team MVP and earned a spot on the All-State team last year. Hovda reached career highs in goals and points this season, surpassing 200 career points earlier this year and ending her career with 241 points.

Mercury Bischoff
The 2025 Ms. Hockey award winner, Bischoff led the state in goals (58) and points (86) that year.
Gigi Marvin, Dani Cameranesi, and Hannah Brandt
Five previous Ms. Hockey winners have gone on to represent Team USA in the Winter Olympics, including Marvin, Cameranesi, and Brandt, who helped Team USA win gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
