According to Delaware State Police, the Toyota Sienna was northbound on Dupont Parkway and preparing to turn left onto Summit Bridge Road around 11:40 pm on February 8th. For unknown reasons, the Toyota turned left and into the path of the southbound Nissan Altima, leading to a collision. The 69-year-old female passenger in the Toyota was pronounced dead at a local hospital, while the Toyota driver and three other passengers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The Nissan driver suffered serious injuries and was also taken to a hospital.
