Lips Appreciation Day

Lips Appreciation Day is observed on March 16 every year. It’s the only day in the year dedicated to appreciating the lips — an attractive part of the face. Did you know that lips come in different shapes, structures, and sizes? Not only do they protect our teeth from the elements, but the lips also form an important part of our smiles, pouts, smacks, and other facial expressions. That’s not all, lips are also essential in eating and drinking. On Lips Appreciation Day, don’t forget to show your lips some appreciation and good care lips to make them more attractive.

Black Love Day

Black Love Day is observed annually on February 13. The day was created to demonstrate love, forgiveness, and acceptance among black people. Ayo Handy-Kendi, the founder of the African American Holiday Association, received inspiration to celebrate the day in 1993, after watching a movie where a black man was murdered by other black people. She decided to take action to promote peace and speak out against violence by creating the day, which has now expanded to include other races.
