Dynasty league fantasy football managers will have the chance to add cornerstone pieces in the 2026 NFL Draft, including talented wide receiver Denzel Boston. The Washington standout is expected to be the fourth receiver taken, but offers tremendous upside and deserves first-round consideration in dynasty leagues as the No. 6 overall pick.
Why it matters
Boston's production may not match the top receivers in his class as a rookie, but his size, contested-catch ability, and red zone dominance make him an enticing long-term prospect. At 6'4" and 210 lbs, he projects as a traditional 'X' receiver who can overpower defenders and be a reliable target, especially in the end zone.
The details
In a breakout 2024 season, Boston hauled in 63 passes for 834 yards and 9 touchdowns. He followed that up with 62 receptions for 881 yards and 11 scores in 2025. While he may not match the top-end speed of some other receivers, Boston's strong hands and leaping ability make him a nightmare in one-on-one coverage, especially near the goal line.
- Boston had a breakout redshirt-sophomore campaign in 2024.
- He followed that up with another dominant season in 2025.
The players
Denzel Boston
A 6'4", 210 lb wide receiver who is projected to be a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft after two stellar seasons at the University of Washington.
Makai Lemon
A highly touted wide receiver prospect expected to be one of the first receivers taken in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Jordyn Tyson
Another elite wide receiver prospect in the 2026 class who is projected to be selected early in the first round.
Carnell Tate
A wide receiver prospect from Ohio State who is also expected to be one of the first receivers taken in the 2026 NFL Draft.
The takeaway
Despite not having the top-end speed of some other receivers in the class, Denzel Boston's size, contested-catch ability, and red zone dominance make him a safe long-term bet as a first-round pick in dynasty fantasy football leagues. His NFL-ready frame and skill set should translate well at the next level, and he could emerge as one of the league's premier red zone threats over the next few years.
