Rainier offers a perfect balance of rugged mountain charm and modern comfort for year-round outdoor adventures.Rainier TodayA 2,500-square-foot alpine cabin nestled at the base of Mt. Why it matters
This home blends a cozy cabin vibe with fresh, modern touches, striking a perfect balance between rugged mountain character and warm, livable comfort. The design vision of authentic alpine architecture comes through in every detail, from the dramatic vaulted living room with its floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace to the covered patio that extends the living space year-round.
The details
The home includes a vaulted living room, a casual kitchen with a dining nook, a primary suite, 2 guest bedrooms, and an office. The large covered patio with exterior fireplace extends the living area year-round. The use of substantial, natural finishes was inspired by the owner's (who have Belgian roots and adventurous spirits) love of European ski lodges and authentic alpine architecture.
