Dozens of families flocked to Beach Baron Field in Ocean Park, Washington last weekend for the annual Easter egg hunt hosted by the Beach Baron community. The event featured separate age group hunts, with the youngest participants requiring some parental guidance while the older, more experienced egg hunters were able to quickly sweep their fields clean. The Easter Bunny was in attendance, and members of the local fire department passed out firefighter hats and gave tours of their truck to the excited children.
Why it matters

The details
The egg hunt commenced at 11 a.m. with four separate age groups - 0-4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10 years old. The youngest participants, many of whom were first-timers, required some direction from their parents to learn the guidelines. In the 5-6 age group, Aria Mahon of Scappose and Eva Gonzalez of Ocean Park were both able to fill their entire baskets during the frenzied egg gathering.
