Live Like Sam, a Park City-based nonprofit, is partnering with the Park City Library to offer a free after-school book club and hangout for fifth through eighth graders. The featured book is 'Octopus Moon' by Bobbie Pyron, a middle-grade novel in verse about a girl navigating depression. Students who attend the two-session program will receive a free copy of the book ahead of Pyron's visit and book signing at the library on April 8.

'Octopus Moon' by Bobbie Pyron, a 2025 School Library Journal Best Book of the Year and Schneider Family Book Award honoree, follows a character named Pearl as she learns to accept help, build coping skills, and find her way back to herself with the support of family, friends, and a therapist.
