The Green River Pirate boys basketball team finished the regular season with a 16-7 record and a perfect 8-0 mark in Region 19, earning them the No. 7 seed in the upcoming 1A State Championships. Led by the dynamic duo of Jason Hernandez and Rolando Anguiano, the Pirates have won 11 of their last 12 games and will take on the winner of the Dugway-Monticello matchup in the first round on Friday, February 20.
