Corner Canyon High School in Utah held a ceremony to retire the jerseys of former football stars Jaxson Dart, Jackson Powers-Johnson and Zach Wilson. The event also recognized longtime coach Eric Kjar, who recently accepted a head coaching job at Weber State University after leading the Chargers to six state championships in 10 seasons. The details
The jersey retirement ceremony attracted over 300 fans and administrators to Corner Canyon High School. Dart, Powers-Johnson and Wilson, who have all gone on to play in the NFL, were in attendance to share memories and anecdotes with the crowd. Coach Kjar, who is leaving Corner Canyon to take the head coaching job at Weber State, was also recognized with the school's first Legacy of Excellence award. Under Kjar's leadership, the Chargers won six state championships in 10 seasons, including a 35-20 victory over Lone Peak in the 6A title game last November.

Zach Wilson
A former Corner Canyon quarterback who was the Deseret News' 'Mr. Football' runner-up in 2017 before going on to be a first-round draft pick of the New York Jets in 2021.
Eric Kjar
The longtime head coach of the Corner Canyon Chargers, who led the team to six state championships in 10 seasons before accepting the head coaching job at Weber State University.
