The city of Buda, Texas, announced plans to transform a long-dormant landfill site into a retail center, anchored by a new H-E-B grocery store. The project is a partnership between the city, Buda Economic Development Corporation, Hays County, and H-E-B, with a combined $20.1 million incentive package over 30 years funded through tax rebates.
