The Brownwood Lady Lions captured their second consecutive area track and field championship, amassing 188 points to easily outdistance runner-up Brock by 91 points. The Lady Lions won 9 of the 17 events and qualified 18 athletes for the upcoming Region I-4A meet, where they will look to defend their regional title as well.
