Michael Leslie Owens, a 73-year-old resident of Voca, Texas, passed away on March 6, 2026 at his home. Owens was the son of the late O.V. and Geneva Owens, and grew up on the family farm in Voca. He later enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served abroad before returning to the area to be near his father. Owens is survived by his children John and Heather, as well as his grandchildren Taylor, Tyler, and Christian.
