PartsNow.ai's AI-powered parts sourcing platform aims to streamline the process of finding and ordering critical truck components like this glowing DEF filter.Knoxville TodayPartsNow.ai, a new AI-powered parts sourcing platform, has launched to help truck owners and mechanics quickly find the right parts for their vehicles. The platform uses voice, chat, and visual recognition technology to identify parts and source them from a network of trusted distributors. PartsNow.ai was developed through a collaboration between software company TalkRev and industry veteran Steve Fultz, who runs several truck parts and repair businesses in Tennessee.
Why it matters
The new platform aims to streamline the often cumbersome process of finding and ordering truck parts, which can be especially challenging for second and third shift parts staff working alone. By leveraging AI, PartsNow.ai has the potential to significantly reduce the time it takes to source parts, from an estimated 10 minutes down to just 3 minutes.
The details
PartsNow.ai allows users to search for parts by typing, speaking, or even uploading a photo of the part or the vehicle's VIN number. The AI-powered system then identifies the exact component needed and sources it from PartsNow.ai's network of distributors, including the company's own parts facilities. The platform currently features a catalog of more than 50,000 parts, with plans to add more distributors in the future. PartsNow.ai is also designed to allow distributors without their own e-commerce infrastructure to sell parts through the platform, providing a new sales channel.
- PartsNow.ai launched in March 2026.
- The company will be exhibiting at the M-PACT fuel-business trade show in Indianapolis from April 14-16, 2026.
