Greenwood Girls Dominate All-District Soccer Awards

The Greenwood High School girls soccer team had a standout season, taking home three of the top awards in the 2026 All-District 2-4A Girls Soccer Awards. Junior Emily Jones won the Golden Boot Award for most goals scored, senior Brooke Rogers was named All-District Midfielder, and head coach Noe Cerezo and his staff were recognized as the Coaching Staff of the Year.

In addition to the individual honors, five Greenwood players were named to the All-District First Team: forward Addyson Adame, midfielder Ella Cook, defenders Jazlyn Sigala and Gabriela Barrios, and goalkeeper Farrah Fortner. Andrews High School also had two players, defender Ariana Rosales and goalkeeper Whitnee Seals, make the first team. Wolfforth Frenship Memorial's Alyssa Torres was named the Most Valuable Player.
