Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old man who was struck by gunfire while sitting on a couch inside his home in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. On March 29 at 9:59 p.m., County 9-1-1 was notified of a shooting on Abraham Street in McKeesport. First responders found Kurtis Shaw, 37, of McKeesport, shot inside his home. Shaw later died at the hospital. Detectives determined more than a dozen shots were fired from outside the house and Shaw was struck multiple times while sitting on a couch. Detectives have also learned the home was struck by gunfire the night before Shaw was shot and killed. The suspect fled in a stolen vehicle that was later recovered by police.
