UCLA has landed a commitment from former TCU guard Donovyn Hunter, who will join the Bruins after playing one season at Oregon State and the past two years with the Horned Frogs. Hunter, a 6'0" guard, gives UCLA some much-needed experience and size in the backcourt following the departure of several key players to the WNBA.

Why it matters

With six players from UCLA's 2026 national championship team being drafted into the WNBA, the Bruins have a lot of holes to fill in their roster. Adding an experienced guard like Donovyn Hunter, who has Pac-12 experience, will help provide a steadying presence and scoring punch as UCLA looks to defend its title.
