This four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom cabin retreat offers its inhabitants plenty of space for lounging and entertaining, surrounded by the Ouachita forest.

The details
Construction was already underway when the owners decided to bring in Tara Lenney Design to curate the interiors. Inspired by the raw beauty of the woods and river, the designer drew heavily on natural materials, textures, and colors to create a home that feels immediately inviting and stunning. The result is a space that balances elevated design and laid-back comfort, with features like a soaring wood-beamed ceiling, a cream stone fireplace, and wall-to-wall windows overlooking the river below.
