Q Architecture + Design and Tara Lenney Design collaborated to create a beautiful, modern, treehouse-inspired home built on stilts above the Mountain Fork River in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. This four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom cabin retreat offers its inhabitants plenty of space for lounging and entertaining, surrounded by the Ouachita forest.

Why it matters

This project showcases how thoughtful design can seamlessly blend a home with its natural surroundings, creating a warm and inviting retreat that celebrates the beauty of the great outdoors. The use of natural materials, textures, and colors throughout the home evokes a sense of coziness and connection to the environment.
