Minix has been playing well for the Cavs' G League affiliate, the Cleveland Charge, averaging 19.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 steals per game on 55.6% shooting.

The details
Minix joined the Charge in January via a three-team trade, after spending the last two-and-a-half seasons with the San Antonio Spurs organization. He went undrafted out of Morehead State but impressed in the 2024 NBA Summer League, earning an Exhibit 10 contract and training camp invite from the Spurs. Minix appeared in one NBA game for San Antonio in 2024 before suffering a torn left labrum that required surgery.
