On March 23rd, a Weehawken police officer observed a double-parked vehicle near a mailbox and saw a male suspect run from the mailbox and get into the vehicle. The vehicle was stopped, and the occupants included Agaj, the driver, and Altaweel, the front seat passenger. A search of the vehicle uncovered checks and mail from numerous jurisdictions, as well as tools used for 'mail fishing' - a technique where criminals lower devices into mailboxes to steal mail. Agaj and Altaweel were later arrested when trying to retrieve the impounded vehicle, and Altaweel was found to be in possession of a distribution quantity of Oxycodone.
