SCREEN Holdings Co., Ltd. has celebrated the official opening of its new SCREEN Advanced Technology Center of America (ATCA) R&D hub in Albany, New York. The facility, established in collaboration with NY Creates, is located within the Albany NanoTech Complex and will enable SCREEN to expand its capacity and engagement with industry stakeholders as it develops leading semiconductor production processes and equipment.

The details

ATCA has been established with a total capital investment of around JPY 12.0 billion expected by fiscal year ending March 31, 2027. The new facility includes 929 square meters of clean room space and 462 square meters of office space, and will enable SCREEN to engage with a broad range of industry stakeholders including global customers, consortia, universities, technology and material suppliers, and other tenants of the Albany NanoTech Complex.
