South Plainfield High School recently honored its student-athletes and coaches who excelled during the 2025-2026 winter sports season. The school celebrated accomplishments in basketball, bowling, swimming, track, and wrestling, with numerous players earning all-conference and all-division honors, as well as district and regional tournament placements.

At a recent board of education meeting, Interim Athletic Director Linda Ionta recognized the student-athletes and coaches for their hard work, teamwork, and perseverance throughout the winter season. Member of the South Plainfield High School boys basketball team, named to the All Greater Middlesex Conference and GMC All Red National Division teams.

Ava Fusaro

Member of the South Plainfield High School girls wrestling team, placed 2nd in the NJSIAA District 6 Tournament and NJSIAA North 2 Region Tournament, and was named GMC Champion and to the GMC All White Division and All GMC Team.
