At a recent board of education meeting, Interim Athletic Director Linda Ionta recognized the student-athletes and coaches for their hard work, teamwork, and perseverance throughout the winter season. Several players were named to all-conference and all-division teams, while others placed highly in district and regional tournaments.

Andrew Bena
Member of the South Plainfield High School boys basketball team, named to the All Greater Middlesex Conference and GMC All Red National Division teams.
Ava Fusaro
Member of the South Plainfield High School girls wrestling team, placed 2nd in the NJSIAA District 6 Tournament and NJSIAA North 2 Region Tournament, and was named GMC Champion and to the GMC All White Division and All GMC Team.
