The inaugural Mid-Atlantic Baseball Challenge opened with a matchup between two top-five teams in New Jersey as #2 Gloucester Catholic took on #5 St. Augustine. Sophomore Brayden Moughan had a big game for Gloucester Catholic, hitting a home run and a go-ahead three-run double to lead his team to victory. Rowan commit Jason Bogart also drove in a pair of runs for the winning side.

Gloucester Catholic advances to face Malvern Prep in the semifinals tomorrow at St. Augustine's home field.
