Sister Kathryn Frances McTague SSJ, formerly known as Sister Edward Angela, passed away on March 30, 2026 at the age of 92. She had entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph in Chestnut Hill in 1951 and professed her final vows in 1959, going on to minister in dioceses across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York over her decades-long career.

Born to the late Edward and Frances McTague, Sister Kathryn attended St. Rose of Lima Grade School and West Catholic High School before joining the Sisters of Saint Joseph in 1951. She professed her final vows in 1959 and went on to serve in the dioceses of Allentown, Camden, Newark, and Philadelphia over the course of her ministry. She is preceded in death by her brother Daniel McTague and sister Angela Glazer, and is survived by her niece, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephew, and members of her religious congregation.
