York Middle School recently held its annual Presidents' Fair, where eighth grade social studies students presented their in-depth research on U.S. presidents. Working in pairs, students studied topics like their assigned president's early life, path to the presidency, major events during their time in office, and long-term impact on the nation. The project required students to analyze multiple sources, organize historical information, and collaborate to create formal papers, detailed tri-fold displays, and engaging presentations for the community.
