The expo aims to help families navigate aging-in-place solutions and caregiving decisions through interactive exhibits, trusted professionals, and engaging activities.
Why it matters
North Carolina is experiencing a significant demographic shift, with one in five residents expected to be age 65 or older by 2030. At the same time, millions of adults are stepping into caregiving roles for aging parents. The Well Lived NC Expo was created to meet this growing need by providing families with the knowledge, resources, and confidence to plan ahead for independent living.
The details
The Well Lived NC Expo will feature medical support providers, in-home care and service companies, financial and retirement planning experts, insurance professionals, therapy and wellness providers, sports & fitness organizations, and construction and home modification specialists. Guests can enjoy interactive activities like pickleball challenges, line dancing, field sports, fitness sessions, and food trucks.
- The Well Lived NC Expo will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
