What they’re saying
“Our hotels are not new to hosting big events. We do this all the time. We thrive in that space. And so it's really more of that on a larger scale. And we're ready to go. Our hotels are staffed up. It's making sure they're brushed up on their guest services training and all of those things.”
— Andrea O'Hara, Executive Director, Hotel & Lodging Association of Greater Kansas City
“Most of our restaurants are looking for people that are around 18 or up, but there are still some opportunities for some people who are at least 16 to be in the front of house host and busters. Anything along those lines. But even if you have zero hospitality, a restaurant tour experience, we will still take you. I mean, we are the industry of opportunity.”
— Trey Meyers, Representative, Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association
