The woman's vehicle hydroplaned, struck a guardrail, and partially blocked a lane, leading a tractor-trailer to collide with her car and then jackknife and overturn, blocking both eastbound lanes.

A tractor-trailer was unable to avoid the disabled vehicle and struck the sedan, causing the truck to jackknife and overturn, blocking both eastbound lanes. The Ballwin woman sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a hospital in Columbia. The truck driver from Kansas was uninjured.
