The Minnesota West women's basketball team was well-represented in the NJCAA Division III awards this season. Sophomore forward Katrina Schutz was named the Women's Basketball Player of the Year, while head coach Rosalie Hayenga-Hostikka earned Coach of the Year honors for the second time after leading the Lady Jays to a 26-5 record and their second national championship in three years.
