Central Michigan Track & Field hosted the Chippewa Challenge on Saturday, where the Chippewas won 10 events, took the top three positions in two events, and set eight personal records. The team had strong performances across multiple events, including the javelin throw, 1500m, 100m hurdles, long jump, 100m dash, pole vault, 400m hurdles, shot put, 800m, and 3000m.

In the javelin throw, Victoria Merrick took second place. In the 1500m, Maya Guikema, Eva Thompson, and Kyah Hoffman swept the top three spots. Linnearia Richards won both the 100m hurdles and long jump. In the 100m dash, four Chippewas took four of the top five spots, led by Sophia Garland. Riley Nielsen and Jane Paddock went 1-2 in the pole vault. Libby Munderloh won the 400m hurdles, and Emily McLean and Merrick took the top two spots in the shot put.
