Rolls-Royce's ultra-exclusive Project Nightingale EV convertible blurs the line between art and automotive engineering.Today in DetroitRolls-Royce has unveiled its latest ultra-exclusive offering, the Project Nightingale, a limited-production electric convertible that will reportedly cost around $9.5 million. Part of the brand's new Coachbuild Collection, the Nightingale features a bespoke design inspired by the Côte d'Azur region and pays homage to the company's early history. Only 100 units will be produced, and Rolls-Royce has already selected the clients who will receive them.
Why it matters

The details
The Project Nightingale is based on Rolls-Royce's all-electric Spectre platform, but the automaker has assured that the vehicle will be almost entirely bespoke. Measuring nearly as long as the brand's Phantom model, the Nightingale features a striking blue exterior inspired by the Côte d'Azur region. The front end pays tribute to the 17EX prototype from 1928, with a massive grille and slim lighting elements. Inside, the car boasts a piano trunk and other luxurious appointments tailored to each owner's preferences.
