BJ's Wholesale Club, a Massachusetts-based retailer, has announced that it will be extending the operating hours of its clubs and gas stations. The new hours will be Monday through Saturday until 10 p.m. and Sundays until 9 p.m. This decision follows similar moves by competitors Sam's Club and Costco, as BJ's aims to keep pace with the industry.

BJ's reported strong performance in 2025, with membership growing by over 500,000 and achieving its highest digital sales days on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The retailer also maintained a 90% tenured renewal rate for the fourth consecutive year and saw a surge in higher-tier membership penetration to 42%. During the fourth quarter of 2025, BJ's comparable club sales, excluding gasoline, rose 2.6% year over year, with more than 90% of digital orders fulfilled directly from the clubs.
