Acting on an arrest warrant for Luis Sanchez, 33, of Holyoke, on drug trafficking charges, the FBI Western Massachusetts Gang Task Force and Holyoke Police executed a search warrant at his apartment on Dwight Street. During the search, they recovered two illegal firearms, one with an extended magazine capable of holding 17 rounds. They also seized approximately 1,500 vials of cocaine (23.5 grams) and 800 bags of suspected fentanyl (20 grams). Separately, Springfield Police arrested Manuel Sanchez, 33, of Southampton, on an outstanding warrant related to cocaine and fentanyl trafficking.
