Sunnyside Recording Artist, Guggenheim Fellow and acclaimed New York City flutist/composer Jamie Baum is making her long-awaited appearance at Scullers with her Quintet, marking a triumphant return to Boston and topping a pinnacle of achievement over a 30-year career. She and her Quintet will give local audiences a preview of her forthcoming eighth album as a leader, as yet untitled, featuring a fast-growing talent on alto sax, Jaleel Shaw, a long-standing member of the Roy Haynes Quartet.
