After losing offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak to the Las Vegas Raiders, where he will be their new head coach, the Seattle Seahawks are moving quickly to find a replacement. One of the candidates they are considering is San Francisco 49ers run game coordinator and tight ends coach Brian Fleury, who will interview for the Seahawks' vacant offensive coordinator position.

The Seahawks had a lot of success on offense last season under Kubiak's leadership, so they are looking to maintain as much of that system as possible. After spending time as the offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints, Kubiak managed to establish himself as a head coach candidate after just one season with the Seahawks. Kubiak rebuilt the team's offense around an explosive passing attack led by Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, with a dominant ground game spearheaded by Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet eventually coming to life late in the year. Fleury is a bit of an outside-the-box candidate, thanks in large part to his coaching background, as he has experience working on both offense and defense.
